Website for Café, Ice Cream Shop and Restaurant in Varna

When someone in Varna is hungry, they look at their phone first. Your site answers in seconds whether you are open, what you serve and how to get there, in Bulgarian, English and German.

Guests decide on the go

Someone standing on the seafront or looking for an ice cream after the beach rarely has time for long texts. They want three things: are you open right now? Roughly what does it cost? How do I get there? If they cannot find the answer in ten seconds, they move on to the next place.

A hospitality website is therefore first of all a clearly readable piece of information. The atmosphere comes from pictures, but only after that.

  • Opening hours, separate for summer and winter, with days off and holidays
  • Menu or ice cream flavours as text, not as a photo or PDF
  • Location with map and one sentence on how to recognise the place
  • Phone, Viber or WhatsApp reachable with one tap
  • Information guests actually need: terrace, groups, dogs, high chairs

Café, ice cream shop, restaurant: each site solves something different

The building blocks are similar, the focus is not. That is why there are separate pages with their own content:

Café
Everyday life counts here: breakfast, coffee, cake, maybe places to work. Hours, a few fixed offers and the location carry the page. Website for cafés in Varna
Ice cream shop
The range changes with the day and the season. Flavours as text, clear season dates and a location that is easy to find at the beach or in the centre. Website for ice cream shops in Varna
Restaurant
Guests often plan ahead: booking, menu with allergens, group enquiries and clear directions. Website for restaurants in Varna

Menu as text, not as PDF

Many venues upload the menu as a PDF or photo. On a phone the guest has to zoom, drag and wait, Google reads the content less well, and every additional language needs a new document.

As text on the page the menu loads faster, can be searched and appears in Bulgarian, English and German side by side. Dish, description and price are listed one under the other, with allergens as abbreviations behind them.

There are legal requirements for labelling allergens. I am not a lawyer: please check with the competent authority or your adviser what has to appear on your menu. I implement your details cleanly.

Summer by the sea, winter in the city

In summer Varna lives from guests, and for the rest of the year from locals, students and working people. Some venues only open for the season, others change their offer. The page has to be able to say that without looking out of date.

Then there is language: holidaymakers often search in English or German, residents in Bulgarian. A menu in all three languages takes away the hesitation to walk in. Overnight stays by German guests in the region alone rose by 29 % to 146,684 between 1 January and 20 June 2025.

How venues are found in Varna

These are the terms guests run into when searching on the go:

Bulgarian

  • кафе Варна
  • ресторант Варна
  • сладолед Варна
  • сладкарница Варна

English

  • cafe Varna
  • restaurant Varna
  • ice cream Varna
  • breakfast Varna

German

  • Café Varna
  • Restaurant Varna
  • Eis Varna

For venues the Google Maps entry has a strong say. You create and maintain the entry yourself; I make sure that hours, address and phone number on your website match it.

The page itself helps with readable text: a real menu, clear place details and the languages people search in.

Frequently asked questions

Aren’t Instagram and Google Maps enough?

Both are important, but neither replaces your own site. Instagram disappears in the feed, and a map shows neither your menu nor your season dates reliably. Your own site belongs to you, stays readable and can be matched by Google to the right search terms.

Does the whole menu have to be online?

No. A selection with prices is enough if the menu changes often. For daily specials there is a section of its own that we set up so that it is easy to update. How that works best for you we clarify in conversation.

How do I get bookings?

In three ways: a simple form, a call button or a link to the booking service you already use. A café or ice cream shop often needs no booking route, a restaurant almost always does.

What about delivery platforms?

If you deliver through platforms, the site links there without hiding your menu. The guest stays informed on your site and decides for themselves where to order.

Is a site worth it for a seasonal venue?

Yes, especially then. Guests check beforehand whether you are already or still open. A site that names the start and end of the season saves you calls and disappointed guests.

What does it cost and how long does it take?

From €490 net for up to five pages, hosting from €24.90 a month. Before we start, I give you a fixed quote that fits your scope. The price applies to a single venue; for several locations we talk first.
