What good web design in Varna includes
Web design is more than a nice layout. For a company in Varna, a finished website should cover these points:
- Structure and copy in Bulgarian and English, written for your customers rather than translated word by word.
- A mobile-first layout. Most visitors will open the site on a phone, so the phone version is designed first.
- Speed. Compressed images, clean code and no heavy scripts that are not needed.
- Basic search optimisation: a clear title and description per page, one proper main heading, meaningful image descriptions and your city named where it belongs.
- Clear ways to contact you: a form, a phone number, an email address, and nothing that gets in the way.
- Handover. You receive technical access to what was built.
How much does web design in Varna cost?
My prices are published on the pricing page. For companies in Bulgaria, the website package “Start” covers up to five pages, in Bulgarian and English, mobile-optimised, with basic SEO. It starts at €490 net. It does not include custom film material. For Germany and international clients, a custom-designed website starts at €799 net. All prices are net, plus statutory VAT, and I quote a fixed price after a short call.
Running costs are separate. Managed Hosting is €24.90 per month, or €249 per year. It includes the hosting, an SSL certificate, daily backups, software updates, technical fixes, up to 30 minutes of changes per month and one 50 GB business mailbox. The minimum term is 12 months. A detailed breakdown is in the article how much a website costs in Bulgaria.
The price depends mainly on the number of pages, the languages and whether texts still have to be written. That is why I give a price only after a short call.
How a website project runs
- Short call. We talk about your business, your customers and what the site should achieve. The call is about 15 minutes.
- Fixed quote. You get a price for a defined scope, so there are no surprises later.
- Structure and copy. Pages, headings and texts are planned around the terms your customers search for.
- Design and build. The site is built mobile-first and checked on real devices.
- Review, launch and handover. You review the result, we publish it, and you receive access.
Three levels: classic, advanced SEO, interactive
The classic website is a clean, professional business site with several subpages, a contact form and SEO basics. The website with advanced SEO adds programmatic SEO: many structurally similar but individually written landing pages, for example one per service or location. The interactive website with your own film footage is built on video produced for you, so motion replaces static photos. Which level fits depends on your goals and scope. I do not recommend the biggest one by default.
Why local and bilingual matters in Varna
Varna region had 440,532 inhabitants at the end of 2025 (BTA), and more than 5,100 people moved there from abroad during 2025 (BTA, DBR). Guests come from abroad as well: German overnight stays rose by 29% to 146,684 between 1 January and 20 June 2025 (Novinite). A site in both Bulgarian and English reaches residents, newcomers and visitors with one address.
There is also room to stand out. Eurostat reports that 79% of enterprises in the EU had their own website in 2025. For Bulgaria, Eurostat data reported by BTA show that 70.6% of enterprises had a very low level of digital intensity in 2023. These are different measures, so they should not be compared directly, but both point the same way: a well-made site is still an advantage for many local firms.
Examples you can open yourself
The examples page links to live sites: a coffee shop (Caffè Esempio), an Italian bar (Bar Stivale), a kebab takeaway (Döner Orbit), a clinic site built around booking an appointment (Aesthetic Clinic), a car dealer (Autozentrum) and a bike brand (VELOCE). Open them on your phone and judge speed and clarity for yourself.
What I need from you to start
Very little. A short description of your business, the services you want to be found for, any existing logo or photos, and the languages you need. If you have no texts yet, I write them with you. If a site already exists, send the address and I will tell you honestly what is worth keeping and what is not.
How to choose a web designer in Varna
- Ask for live pages you can open, not only screenshots.
- Ask for a written scope and a fixed price.
- Check that the Bulgarian text is written by someone who speaks the language naturally.
- Make sure you receive access to your domain, hosting and site.
- Be careful with anyone who guarantees a Google ranking. Nobody can promise that.
